With the release of ‘Dasavatharam’ just a few hours away from now, every word being uttered by Kamal Haasan assumes Himalayan significance.

A thrilled Kamal Haasan said to a news channel, 'it's a film for all. A new attempt which will take Tamil cinema to the next level. We tried many novel things in this movie with a strong belief and trust on the audience.'

Asked to comment on Rajinikanth during the release of ‘Sivaji’, Kamal Haasan said Rajini was a King and Amitabh Bachchan was the Shahensha of Indian cinema.

However, Kamal added, "I respect kings and emperors. But I believe in democracy". A highly intelligent remark indeed!

'I am happy that our hard work is reflected well on screen. ‘Dasavatharam’ is sure to bring repute to the Tamil film industry'.

The movie would have a record number of shows all across Tamilnadu on Friday. Interestingly all the shows had been booked well in advance.
